The Comfi II Mini Swirl is a Convertible Booster Seat. It uses the in-built harness from approximately 6-months through to 4-years-old. After this, it converts into a Booster Seat with the vehicle’s lap & sash seatbelt once the child reaches the middle marker, which is outgrown at approximately 8-years-old.

It's slimmer than it’s predecessor at 47.5cm, and features new innovations in safety, comfort, and ergonomics.

Innovative Shell Design

The redesigned shell incorporates a new ergonomic shape for extra comfort. It maintains a super strong blow moulded construction, larger belt path access, and our unique anti-submarining technology. This means it’s the safest, comfiest Convertible Booster Seat we’ve ever created.

In a frontal accident, the unique ‘pommel’ design of the seat base, and the air-bag-like blow moulded construction acts in a similar way to the front seats of your vehicle. The sloped surface results in a larger downward force, rather than lateral. It decelerates the child and results in reduced forward movement and submarining. In Booster Seat mode, the anti-submarine designed armrests work in tandem with the new base. It keeps the lap belt down across your child’s lap.

Additionally, our exclusive under-the-seat belt path reduces the forward movement of the restraint in a frontal accident. The new larger access areas under the arm rests make installation easier than ever before.

Comfi II Mini Swirl featuresAir Cocoon Technology™ (A.C.T.). This enhances side impact protection through blow moulding design, which dramatically reduces the impact forces during a crash. The Comfi II Mini Swirl’s high blow moulded backrest and large side wings act like airbags, which greatly reduces the forces on a child’s head and body in a side-impact accident.
